Are you open to love?

Are you really open to love?

While sitting on my yoga mat in a moment of deep meditation, I was invited to consider these two mantras;

I am open to love

I am willing to be open to love

It got me thinking about my female friends, the women I work with and the many women I interviewed; successful, ambitious, go getters who have it all (except that loving lasting romantic relationship they’ve always dreamed of) And, what I noticed was a commonality between them; most, if not all are;

·        people pleasers (or recovering)

·        they are or have been the fixer-uppers or saviours in relationships

·        they choose men who are less ambitious, have less potential, and those that earn less than themselves

·        they operate and are most comfortable in their masculine energy; driven, focused, goal orientated and confident

Makes sense, right? After all they are go getters!

Well, not only were they out of balance with their feminine energy, I noticed they struggled with receiving.  So, although they were ready to date, or said they longed to be in a long-term relationship with Mr. right, their energies said the opposite. And, what happens when you are not open to receive, not open to let love in?  You attract Mr. wrong, again and again.

Consider this today:

How do you respond when a man wants to open a door for you?

How do you feel/react when a man wants to pay for dinner?

How do you feel/react when a man surprises you with gifts?

How do you feel/react when a man tells you exactly how much he cares for you?

How do you feel about a man that earns double what you do?

How do you feel/react if a man wants to pay for the both of you to go on vacation?

Gorgeous, are you open to love? Are you willing to be open to love?
